You’ve got options

When you put a new human into this world, you’ve got options around the general, basic life’s direction in which you want to send them off.

You can tell them that there is an old man in the clouds, who’s writing down every bad thing you ever do, and if there are too many in your 80 years on these planet, this “loving father” is going to condemn you to millions of millions of millions of years and more (for eternity) to hell, where you’re going to be tortured every day all day long!

Or you can tell them that their soul came here to learn and develop and improve to reach nirvana. It didn’t learn enough yet in her previous bodies, so it dumped - again - the old body and reincarnated in a new, young body (theirs) to continue the learning.

Or you can tell them that it’s all about having fun and enjoying the trip.

What do these, and most if not all other typical religious theories have in common?

“It’s all about you, and the world can go to hell!”

There’s one alternative, though, that turns the goal around: “It’s not about you; you’re about it!” It’s not about you, your soul, developing, but about this world developing. Where is it going? Where are we taking it to?

We humans are the only one species on this planet - out of millions! - that is not needed to keep the system in balance and perpetuating. And we are the only species that has the ability to change the system!

Your soul could have incarnated in any other species, if it wanted to be a system perpetuator. But it chose a human. It seems highly likely, that it wanted to be a system changer.

In short: your soul incarnated in you to participate in the continuation of the development of this world! You came to be in the hope that through you the world becomes a little bit a better place!

You tell me: with which of these stories is it more likely that the world will be pushed by your child further towards destruction? And with which story is it more likely that your child will try to be part of the solution, rather than the problem for the state of this planet and society? Which story has the largest potential to end bullying in school, on the job, and among counties? Which is inspiring the most what is needed so urgently: international cooperation, world peace, and love and care for animals and plants and the planet as a whole?

You tell me!

No. You don’t need to tell me! You can simply choose which story you like most to teach your baby…
